Shkola Alexander Vasilyevich – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, docent, Professor of the Department of Physics and Methods of Teaching Physics of BSPU.

After graduation from Zaporizhzhya State University (specialty “physicist, physics teacher”) since 1992 he has been working at the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University in the positions of: engineer of the first category, assistant, senior teacher, docent, professor of the department of physics and methods of teaching physics.

During 1992 – 1999 he worked as a part-time teacher of physics in physics and mathematics classes of secondary schools № 2 and № 5 in Berdyansk, whose students were repeatedly winners of local and prize-winners of the regional Olympiads in physics, and later students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.


In 1997 he defended his PhD thesis “History of the origin, formation and development of scientific schools of the method of teaching physics in Ukraine” at National Pedagogical University named after MP Drahomanov (specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methodology of teaching physics; scientific supervisor – doctor of pedagogical sciences , Professor, Academician of the International Pedagogical Academy OV Sergeyev). In 2000, according to the results of scientific work, a scholarship was awarded to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.

In 2017 he defended his doctoral dissertation “Theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching theoretical physics of future teachers of physics” at National Pedagogical University named after MP Drahomanov (specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methodology of teaching physics; scientific consultant – academician of NAPS of Ukraine; -Mathematical Sciences, Professor MI Shut).

Teaches subjects that provide fundamental and methodological training for future teachers of physics: general physics, theoretical physics, methods of teaching physics in general and higher schools, history of physics; is the head of pedagogical practice, diploma and master’s works of physics students. The total number of publications is more than 125, of which: 2 monographs, 7 textbooks, including those of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

He is a member of the specialized scientific council K 18.053.01 in BSPU.

Awards: Honorary diploma of the BSPU rector on the results of scientific work (2000, 2002, 2005, 2008), diploma of the regional department of education and science of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration (2011), diploma of the People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine VO Baranov (2012). ), diploma of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (2012), diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2015).
