Biography

Vasyl Matsiuk in 1997 graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Berdyansk State Pedagogical Institute named after Polina Osipenko and received the qualification of “teacher of mathematics, computer science and computer engineering.”
From 1997 to 1999 he was an assistant at the Department of Mathematics of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, from 1999 he was a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics.

In 2013, at a meeting of the Specialized Academic Council K 67.051.02 (Kherson State University, Kherson) Vasyl Matsiuk defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogy on the topic: “Level system of control of learning outcomes of algebra in higher pedagogical educational institution” in the specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methods of teaching (mathematics).

Scientific and pedagogical activity

In different years he taught and teaches the following disciplines: Linear Algebra, Algebra and Number Theory, Discrete Mathematics, Numerical Systems, Computer Workshop in Mathematics.

Research interests

Features of teaching algebraic disciplines in pedagogical universities, methodological aspects of the organization of control of educational achievements of students in mathematical disciplines.
